This one I saw recently on the big screen. No this one didn't come top for it's progressive depictions of women ;-) It wins purely for starting one of my favourite film series', the nostalgia I feel for watching them throughout my life and well of course, Mr Connery :-) I know it has it's cheesy moments but I still love to watch it and most of it's sequels.

I was quite tempted by a James Bond but had problem picking one out...
Now, as a long-standing Bond fan since childhood, I find your choice interesting. The Bond films are tricky, in my opinion, to catagorise. I would have said that Dr No and From Russia... are thrillers rather than action films. There are several throughout the run that tread a fine line. Would you class the Bourne films as action or thriller?

Look, 'Action' is one of my meh genres. There are 'action' scenes in all Bond Movies. In Maryville Bond films come under 'action' ;-)
Bourne I would also class as action. Under the same judgement I used above.
I can't think of a film that is all action, no thriller that I actually like.
