I have never heard of that film... you Brits have a funny idea of cartoons for kids... when was it made?
It came out around 1979 I think. It's an adaptation from a book by Richard Adams. This film is the harshest kids film I've seen. Makes Bambi look like a walk in the park.
Even though it makes me cry it's a big favourite.
Maybe I'll get it out on Love Films, Karle knows it, says it's a good but sad movie and he is talking about Plague Dogs... do you know it?
I have heard the title but know nothing about it.
Anything where animals get killed sinks me into despair these days - and it's all the fault of this film. It scarred me from a young age and even though my adult self can distinguish between reality and fiction, the deep-seated memories of this film affect me even today.
Like you, the song alone brings me to tears. Just can't watch it again. Ever.
